Marketing Program

 

Since 1998, GFVGA’s Marketing Program has given members the opportunity to increase their market reach. The program includes the following:

  • Hosting produce buyer tours on farm visits to Georgia producers.  The buyers get a first hand view of the high quality and excellent taste of Georgia’s fresh produce.
  • Our Marketing Sponsor Program is mailed out in the Spring and Fall to over 2000 actual retail distributors and grocery chain buyers nationwide.
  • GFVGA attends and hosts the PMA GEORGIA PAVILION in conjunction with other Georgia commodities and a number of growers to promote fresh Georgia produce.
  • Our Marketing sponsors receive access to the Georgia Pavilion at the PMA Trade Show and their farm, commodity and contact information is distributed to all buyers and attendees from across the world that visit the Georgia Pavilion.
  • GFVGA assists in publishing a Georgia insert for PRODUCE BUSINESS magazine that is distributed to over 20,000 buyers nationwide and 10,000 attendees at PMA.

Here is GFVGA’s commitment to you as a marketing sponsor:

  1. Your farm will be included in farm visits by out of state buyers as the buyer’s itinerary and crop interest allows.  Your farm information will be included in the packets provided to all the buyer’s during their “On the Farm” visits.
  2. You have access to utilize the GFVGA area in the Georgia Pavilion at PMA.  You can schedule appointments with buyers at PMA and use the GFVGA booth as a point of contact.  Whether you attend PMA or not, you will be included in any information distributed from our booth.
  3. Your farm and your crop availability will be included in our SPRING CROPS brochure distributed in April and our FALL CROPS brochure distributed in September.  Plus, the Marketing Sponsors will also be listed on the GFVGA web site on the CROP AVAILIBILITY page.
