Charles Hall, Executive Director
Charles holds a Masters of Science in Horticulture from the University of Georgia and has over 30 years experience in association managements, public relations and business operations. He has served on the Georgia Society of Association Executives Board of Directors and provided leadership on a number of GSAE committees. He is recognized as one of the “90 Movers and Shakers” in the Georgia association community. In 2006, he received the Volunteer Service Award from the National Agricultural Alumni and Development Association for his work with the University of Georgia Ag Alumni Association.
Kelley Atkinson, SE Regional Trade Show Coordinator
An official GFVGA team member since January 2013, Kelley coordinates the annual SE Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference Tradeshow and helps procure sponsorships for the event.
Beth Bland Oleson, Director of Education and Food Safety
Beth is the GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) coordinator for the state of Georgia. She received her Masters from the University of Georgia and has an extensive background in the agricultural industry. Beth also works year-round to coordinate educational workshops for issues directly affecting our members. She also coordinates and oversees’ the educational programming for the annual SE Regional Fruit & Vegetable Conference.
Samantha Tankersley Kilgore, Director of Communications
Samantha coordinates GFVGA’s communication efforts–including the monthly e-newsletter, The Update and the Georgia Fruit & Vegetable Growers News. Samantha graduated from the University of Georgia with her Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Communication and also has an extensive background rooted in the agriculture industry in Georgia.
Katie Oxford, Director of Operations and Membership, Farm to School Coordinator
Katie joined the GFVGA team in January of 2013. In addition to spearheading the coordination for board meetings and day-to-day GFVGA staff activities, Katie serves as the liason to the associations participation in Farm to School and sits with leadership on the Farm to School Alliance. She also manages the membership program, keeping GFVGA membership up to date on renewals and encouraging others around the state and Southeast to join.
Camille Odom, Member Services Coordinator
Camille Odom joined the GFVGA team in January 2015 as a intern. Having just graduated from UGA with a bachelors in Ag-Business, she was a great fit into the GFVGA team and culture. Currently, Camille manages the membership program, keeping GFVGA membership up to date on renewals and encouraging others around the state and Southeast to join. She also assists with monthly communications.
